Wuerzburg – Sept. 08, 2005 – IBIS Prof. Thome AG today announced it has developed an efficient service which analyzes the SAP R/3 solution and writes the results to SAP Solution Manager: RBE Plus 2005.


IBIS’s RBE Plus 2005 is capable of identifying the processes currently “really used” within the system landscape via usage analysis and integrating the results (auto- matically) into the SAP Solution Manager, activating the customer-specific processes in the SAP Solution Manager Business Process Repository (BPR), a process referred to as “scoping”. RBE Plus 2005 also offers further analysis options for almost any project based on productive SAP solution-based systems.

SAP Solution Manager is a centralized, robust, end-to-end application management solution. It empowers companies to implement, operate, monitor, and support their SAP solutions.

In addition to the classic RBE scenarios “Follow-Up Documentation” and “Situation Analysis,” users can conduct more complex analyses such as “Harmonizing System Landscapes,” “Checking Target Concepts” or “Process Improvement.” The RBE Plus operation most highly in demand at present is an analysis of the actual degree of system use prior to a release upgrade or the process of identifying the potential of a new release.
